The company SpaceX has been making noise ever since after its first launched. The founder of the SpaceX, Elon Musk was the first to privately put a payload in earth’s orbit. One of the ultimate goals of Musk together with his team on SpaceX is the idea of sending people to the planet Mars by 2024. Well, Musk is confident enough to achieve this goal. He even estimated that every seat may take more or less $500, 000. But, Musk believes that taking people to Mars is a risk to take.

Since SpaceX is a private company, which means it is a little bit hard to determine and they are not open for any inspection. However, according to SpaceX, they have S4.2 billion contracts alone from NASA. The company continues to accept offers from different satellite launches thus making the company somehow profitable. There are also rumors that Musk will go public.

Elon Musk and the SpaceX has made history because of their milestones. Aside from being the only private company to orbit the Earth and return back in 2010, the SpaceX made another history and milestone in the year 2012. After its success, its spacecraft, the Dragon has been a cargo spacecraft and serves as the service cargo spacecraft of NASA.
